TradeWell FX Stable
TradeWell FX Stable forms the core of the TradeWell portfolio and was developed for investors who value disciplined capital management, systematic decision-making, and institutional-level processes. The strategy consists of multiple carefully selected subsystems with low correlation to each other and focuses on five major currency pairs: AUD/USD, GBP/USD, EUR/USD, NZD/USD, and AUD/CAD.
Each currency pair represents approximately 20% of the portfolio, contributing to balanced diversification and a more robust risk profile across varying market conditions.
The Stable strategy is not dependent on long-term market trends. Instead, it uses a systematic approach that capitalizes on short-term opportunities and continuously adapts to changing market dynamics. Advanced AI models analyze performance and market conditions in real time and provide early signals when parts of the strategy deviate from expected patterns. These analyses are checked and evaluated daily by human monitoring, with a strong focus on consistency, quality, and risk control.
Risk Management
Risk management is an essential part of the TradeWell approach. The strategy incorporates various mechanisms to control capital risk as effectively as possible, including stress tests, scenario analyses, controlled position sizing, and automatic risk limits.
Since October 2024, TradeWell FX Stable has applied risk limits and stop-out mechanisms of approximately 10% per individual position or subsystem. These measures are designed to keep risk per currency pair under control and to enhance the overall stability of the strategy.
The current risk structure was tightened in response to increased market volatility during the U.S. election period in October 2024, when the strategy was hit by a system-wide stop-out. Based on this event, additional measures were implemented to reduce risk more quickly and make recovery periods more efficient.
Although the strategy uses extensive risk management mechanisms, exceptional market conditions, sudden volatility, price gaps, limited liquidity, technical disruptions, or strongly correlated market movements can cause losses to exceed the intended limits. Because the portfolio consists of multiple subsystems and currency pairs, several positions can underperform simultaneously in extreme situations. As a result, total portfolio losses may exceed the applied limits per individual position or subsystem.
The stop-out mechanisms and risk limits are internal risk management tools and should not be considered as a guaranteed maximum loss threshold.
For investors who want to supplement their portfolio in a diversified and systematic way without daily operational involvement, TradeWell FX Stable offers a technology-driven strategy in which human oversight, process discipline, and risk management are central.
Best regards, Joan Horbeek
