A milestone in Amsterdam

A milestone in Amsterdam

Friday, May 1, 2026, we hosted our first investor day. An afternoon when our traders, our team and our investors came together under one roof for the first time.

It's a strange moment, the hour before an event you are organizing for the first time. You've checked the program three times, the presentations are ready, the coffee is running. But only when the first guests come in do you realize: this is what we do. This is what we have built for our investors.

May 1 was the day. We gathered from 12:00 at Atellier de Vijzel in Amsterdam with Simeon Hoefnagels, our traders, and the entire team of Systems2follow. For the first time, the people who develop the systems, the people who build the platform and the people who invest in it were in the same room. And you felt that difference.

What it was about

The afternoon focused on three themes.

The growth of the platform. What Ruud Hoefnagels started on his own years ago has grown, in the hands of his son Simeon , into a professional platform where millions are tracked every day. From a one-man company to a team of traders, developers and specialists, with clients all over the Netherlands. For the first time, our investors saw the numbers behind the scenes, not just the marketing story.

The direction for the coming years. Where are we headed? What new systems are coming, what traders do we want to add, what markets are we going to open? Simeon presented the strategy, not as a finished plan but as an open story. That fits with how we look at our investors: not as recipients of a finished product, but as collaborators in something that is still growing.

What Systems2follow is becoming. That is the story that is the hardest to capture in numbers. We are not just a platform that enables automated investing. We are a marketplace for traders who want to share their strategy. A Customer Success organization for people who don't want to trade themselves. And, increasingly, a community.

The encounters

What made the afternoon special was not the content of the presentations, although they were carefully prepared. It was the conversations that ensued during the breaks and afterwards. People meeting in person for the first time after months of email contact. Questions that were asked at the time they came up, not through a form. Stories shared about how it all started, and ideas exchanged about where we want to go. You can't plan moments like that, only make them possible.

What this means for us

The first investor day was a milestone. Not because we ticked off an event, but because we saw what we are building, building on what Ruud once started alone. A platform that will continue to grow as long as we keep connecting the people behind it. And that's what we plan to keep doing, this year and for years to come.

We want to thank everyone who was there very much for their time, their questions, their presence. And for those who could not be there, we have captured the afternoon for you in a short aftermovie.

The aftermovie

A short impression of our afternoon in Amsterdam. For those who were there to enjoy it, for those who could not be there to watch it.
